Mariah Dylla Gardiner progresses in her law profession

September 21, 2018
Mariah Dylla Gardiner is a 2010 graduate of the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law. There, she also received the Frankel Public Interest Fellowship. During her studies, she acted as a clerk/intern to the Department of Interior, specifically the Office of Hearings and Appeals, in Salt Lake City, Utah, as well as a legal researcher at the University of Utah and an appellate clerk with the Salt Lake Legal Defenders’ Association. This ample collegiate experience -- in additional to pre-college work -- prepared her significantly for the law environment that followed.

For nearly two years, Gardiner worked as a solo criminal defense practitioner for adult and juvenile cases with Dylla Law in Salt Lake City. She also handled limited civil cases during this time. She then relocated to New Mexico and a role as Assistant District Attorney in Bernalillo County. Follow relocation again to Colorado, she now serves as an associate attorney at Black and Graham.
